Victimizer

In the image of Who Knows What,

You desecrated His image in me and them

And so I hated you.

Instead of mourning the humanity you had lost when you victimized us

I demonized the humanity you still had

And then, when I saw your personality

In others

I dehumanized their dignity

Assuming their infidelity

I pinpointed their inadequacy and loathed their

Superiority

Tethered to this endless cycle of

Inhumanity and Indecency,

I died

Now I make my apology, A eulogy

To that profanity that so pervades our

False imaging

An apology that disavows all

Propensity to unshelve

His image in you

So I can believe that

The ability is His to Create anew

to

Be in you too
